Cancellation Policies
Booking and Cancellation Policies
Due to the specialized nature of our birdwatching tours, cancellations significantly impact our logistics and commitments to local partners.
1. Booking Deposit
To confirm your spot, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required.
2. Cancellation Schedule
– 60 days or more before the start date: Full refund of the amount paid, excluding the initial deposit and any banking fees.
– Between 59 and 30 days before the start date: 50% refund of the total tour price.
– Less than 30 days before the start date: No refunds will be issued.
3. External Factors & Force Majeure
In the event of extreme weather conditions or force majeure that prevent the tour from taking place, we will offer a reschedule or a credit for future tours.
4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all international clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and evacuation.
5. Bank commisisions
The total tour investment must be received net of all bank commissions and transfer fees.
6. Birdwatching equipment
Magdalena Tinamou SAS assumes no responsibility for the loss, theft, accidental damage, or technical failure of cameras, lenses, binoculars, spotting scopes, or any electronic devices owned by participants during the tour. As we travel through natural ecosystems (Tropical Dry Forest, humid areas, and uneven terrain), the care and safe transport of equipment are the sole responsibility of the owner. We strongly recommend that clients obtain professional insurance for their equipment before the trip.

Políticas de Cancelación
Políticas de Reserva y Cancelación
Dada la naturaleza especializada de nuestros tours de observación de aves, las cancelaciones afectan significativamente nuestra logística y compromisos con proveedores locales.
1. Depósito de Reserva
Para confirmar su lugar, se requiere un depósito no reembolsable del [X]% del valor total del tour.
2. Calendario de Cancelaciones
– 60 días o más antes de la fecha de inicio: Se reembolsará el total pagado, exceptuando el depósito inicial y comisiones bancarias.
– Entre 59 y 30 días antes del inicio: Se reembolsará el 50% del valor total del tour.
– Menos de 30 días antes del inicio: No se realizarán reembolsos.
3. Cancelaciones por Factores Externos
En caso de condiciones climáticas extremas o situaciones de fuerza mayor que impidan la realización del tour, se ofrecerá la reprogramación de la fecha o un crédito para futuros tours.
4. Seguro de Viaje
Recomendamos encarecidamente a todos nuestros clientes internacionales contratar un seguro de viaje que cubra cancelaciones, emergencias médicas y evacuación.
